Champions League Preview- Round of 16

The last big Champions League round of 16 game is upon us. Barcelona home to Chelsea in what will be an intriguing match up. Barcelona remain unbeaten in the league and so are on good form going into the game, having won at the weekend, even without the magical Messi. He is back though and will surely be fully fit and energised. Chelsea, who have been in patchy form recently were victories at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend, but again didn't look too comfortable at the back and conceding late on. I expect Barcelona to again dominate possession and control the game for their pleasing. Messi will be the key player and will surely want to score against Chelsea again and not have a repeat of the 2012 game where he missed a penalty, and Barcelona subsequently went out. Chelsea will have a target man in Giroud up front which will provide them with an outlet, although it will be hard work for the Frenchman. Dembele gets a start on the wing and it will be interesting to see if Chelsea can exploit the right hand side of Barcelona, as presumably, Dembele won't want to track back all that often. I'm still confident that Barcelona will go through as Chelsea look shaky in their confidence and I am going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
