Champions League Preview- Round of 16

Another night of Champions League matches are upon us. The big match of the night is Tottenham Hotspur vs Juventus. Poised at 2-2, it could go either way with both teams coming off wins. Spurs are coming off a comfortable 2nil home win against Huddersfield where they didn't have to leave second gear. Son scored both goals as Harry Kane shined again, this time showing off his overall game and brilliant passing skills. Juventus defeated Lazio 0-1 in what was a very dull and slow paced game. Both teams lacked energy and creativity and if it wasn't for a superb piece of skill and fine finish by Dybala, it would have undoubtedly ended goalless. It will be interesting to see how Spurs deal with Dybala who poses a much different threat to Higuain. Higuaín is an out and out goal scorer who stays furthest up the pitch and relies heavily on service. Dybala on the other hand gets a lot more involved in the game, often-time dropping deep into midfield and starting attacks. This can pose a threat to the spurs defenders who have shown at times throughout the season lapses in concentration. This is easily done when you have no one to mark. However, two away goals certainly plays into Spurs' hands at it means the onus is on Juventus and so they will have to come out and play, something which they don't usually do in big matches. Spurs look such a solid team and with Kane on form and firing in goals I think Spurs will just have the edge on Juventus. I am predicting a 2-1 win for Spurs, but wouldn't mind seeing it go to penalties.

The other game of the evening is all but over with Man City bringing four away goals with them to the Etihad. I can see Guardiola making some changes but still see City winning the game quite comfortably and I am going for a 2-0 win.
