Chelsea are home to Barcelona in another mouth-watering Champions League tie. Barcelona are currently unbeaten in La Liga and have turned into a well oiled machine under Valverde. They have adopted a 4-4-2 formation where the lm/rm often, Iniesta and Paulinho, tuck in-field which allows the full backs to bomb on down the wing. This allows Barcelona to control the midfield with their technically gifted players and often Messi will roam where he pleases. Chelsea on the other hand have had a bit of an up and down season, although they have not crashed like they have done in recent years. Chelsea have a good record against Barcelona and Messi has never scored against them. Chelsea's 3-5-2 formation will be difficult to break down as the wing-backs will drop back to form a 5 defensively. I am expecting a tight game as Barcelona will be happy to take a draw to the Nou Camp. I am predicting a 1-1 draw. However if one of them is to win it will mostly be by a 1 goal margin and I would not be surprised to see Messi finally score against Chelsea.
